Colonel William L. George, USAF (Ret), is a distinguished training developer and aviation leader whose career spans four decades of exemplary service and innovation in both military and civilian aerospace sectors. With a Master’s in Aeronautical Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Mr. George has been recognized at every stage of his career for his exceptional technical acumen, leadership, and commitment to excellence.

Col. George’s 30-year career in the United States Air Force included command and staff positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in roles such as Squadron Commander, Deputy Commander, and Inspector General at the Pentagon and multiple Air Force bases. He oversaw critical programs impacting thousands of personnel, managed multi-million-dollar budgets, and directed complex investigations and crisis response operations. His expertise in inspector general programs, legislative liaison, and operational readiness played a pivotal role in supporting national security objectives, including during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Transitioning seamlessly into the civilian sector, Mr. George has been a driving force in developing technical training for air traffic control and aircraft systems. At Raytheon, supporting the Federal Aviation Administration, he designed and delivered innovative simulation-based training solutions, including proprietary interactive simulators and curricula recognized as industry best practices. He has consistently been the "go-to" expert for advanced instructional technologies and has developed training programs that dramatically improved student performance and operational efficiency.

A decorated instructor and engineer, Col. George’s technical proficiencies span both fighter and bomber aircraft systems, air-to-air and air-to-surface munitions, and advanced systems analysis. He is a certified Airline Transport Pilot and FAA-certified classroom instructor with nearly 4,000 hours of flight time. He has led teams in both operational and instructional environments, earning top honors and multiple commendations for his contributions.
