Hello Allegiant Families, my name is Laura Stanton, and I am so excited to join such a wonderful team of God-fearing, God-glorifying educators.

I was homeschooled K-12 and have a unique understanding of the joys and struggles of home education. I am so thankful for my experience and how I will now get to partner with you as you seek to provide a God-centered education for your children.

It wasn’t until I was in high school that I discovered a love for reading. Since then, God has turned it into a life passion. As a writer, reader, and author, I am excited to share my passion with your students.

Stories are powerful - isn’t this how God chooses to communicate who He is to us? I hope to encourage your students to love story – not just to check the box of books read, but to teach them how to take what they have read, and discern and understand it. I will also provide your students with tools and practice to grow into confident writers who can clearly and effectively communicate their thoughts. Learning to read and write may seem simple, but these skills lay such a powerful foundation for thriving in a world that wants to tell your students how to think.
